Генезис Народного руху України: львівська організація

Abstract

На підставі аналізу програмних засад опозиційних організацій в УРСР й антикомуністичної боротьби народів так званого соціалістичного табору автор обґрунтовує думку, що в умовах кризи тоталітарного режиму здобуття державної незалежності України стало можливим завдяки консолідації більшості самостійницьких сил у НРУ. Малодосліджені регіональні особливості створення Народного руху України з’ясовуються на прикладі виникнення львівської організації НРУ.Analysing the program principles of opposition organizations in the Ukrainian SSR and anticommunist struggle of peoples in the so-called socialist camp, the author substantiates the idea that attaining Ukraine’s independence under circumstances of crisis of totalitarian regime was made possible by consolidating the majority of supporters of independence in the People’s Movement of Ukraine (NRU or Rukh). Little known regional features of the founding of Rukh are being investigated through the case study of L’viv regional branch of the NRU.
