Abstract

З’ясовуються обставини нападу на Київ хана Менґлі Ґірея в 1482 р. Виявлено роль можливих зацікавлених у цьому сторін – великого князя московського, османського падишаха, кримського хана. Досліджено обороноздатність Києва, міста та замку, наприкінці XV ст. Спростовано декілька міфів про «київську трагедію» 1482 р.The author investigates the circumstances of the attack on Kyiv by Meñli I Giray Khan in 1482. The role of potential stakeholders in the attack on Kyiv parties – the Grand Duke of Moscow, the Ottoman sultan and the Crimean Khan is examined. The defense capability of Kyiv and its castle in the late 15th is researched in the article. Several myths about the “tragedy of Kyiv” 1482 are disproved.
