Abstract

Визначається загальний перелік основних функцій творів мистецтва XVII–XVIII ст. як зображальних історичних джерел, продемонстровано особливості їх реалізації на різних етапах історичного розвитку суспільства, а також певної еволюції, викликаної зміною зовнішніх обставин побутування та зберігання самих носіїв інформації.The article outlines a general list of the major functions of the art works of 17–18 centuries as representational historical sources, it demonstrates the features of their implementation at different stages of historical development of the society, as well as a certain evolution due to the changes of external circumstances of the living conditions and preservation of the media themselves.
