Історик у дзеркалі епохи (до 100-річчя від дня народження І.О.Гуржія)

Abstract

Висвітлюється наукова, організаційна та громадська діяльність відомого дослідника історії України, члена-кореспондента АН УРСР І.О.Гуржія. Описуються етапи життя та творчого шляху історика. Визначено й охарактеризовано найбільш проблемні напрями його студіювань, їх вагомі результати. Відображено суспільно-політичні умови становлення та розвитку І.О.Гуржія як особистості, а також його взаємовідносини з провідними вітчизняними та зарубіжними науковцями.In this article author lightens up the scientific, organizational and social activity of famous researcher of the history of Ukraine, the member-correspondent of Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic I.O.Hurzhii. The work describes historian’s life stages and the creative development. The most problem directions of his studies and its fundamental results are determined and characterized. Also, covered the social and political conditions of becoming Hurzhii as a personality, his relationships with the lead domestic and foreign scientists.
