Сучасна інформатика: досягнення і перспективи розвитку (до 60-річчя заснування Інституту кібернетики ім. В. М. Глушкова НАН України)

Abstract

У грудні 2017 р. виповнюється 60 років з часу заснування Інституту кібернетики ім. В.М. Глушкова НАН України — широко відомого як в Україні, так і за її межами наукового центру з розроблення фундаментальних і прикладних проблем інформатики та обчислювальної техніки, впровадження методів і засобів інформатики у різні сфери людської діяльності. У статті висвітлено основні етапи історії Інституту, становлення і розвитку його основних наукових напрямів, окреслено найвагоміші наукові здобутки за весь період діяльності установи. Окрему увагу приділено перспективам подальшого розвитку інформатики у світі.December 2017 marks the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of NAS of Ukraine — widely known in Ukraine and abroad scientific center for the development of fundamental and applied problems of computer science and computer technology, introduction of methods and means of informatics in various spheres of human activity. The article covers the main stages of the history of the Institute, the formation and development of its main scientific directions, outlines the most important scientific achievements for the entire period of the institution's activities. Particular attention is paid to the prospects for further development of computer science in the world.
