Михайло Грушевський: суспільне усвідомлення історичної постаті

Abstract

Висвітлюється тривалий і складний процес подолання сучасним українським суспільством сформованого комуністичною ідеологією упередженого ставлення до видатного вченого, державного та громадсько-політичного діяча М.Грушевського. Розкривається іманентна потреба осягнення в незалежній Україні його величезної творчої спадщини, внеску у створення першої у ХХ ст. національної держави, засвоєння уроків зі здобутків і прорахунків цієї історичної постаті.In this article lightens up the long and difficult process of overcoming the communist- made prejudice ideology of brilliant scientist, national, social and political figure Mykhailo Hrushevs’kyi by modern Ukrainian society. Moreover, article reveals the immanent need in independent Ukraine to comprehend Hrushevs’kyi’s greatest oeuvre, his major contribution to the development in the 20th century of the national State and to learn the lessons of outstanding achievements and the miscalculations of this historical person.
