Становлення політичної еліти Гетьманщини в період революції ХVІІ ст.: особливості, суперечності, деструктивні процеси

Abstract

Розглядається складна й малодосліджена проблема формування політичної еліти в роки національної революції XVII ст. Відмовившись від традиційного в історіографії статусно-функціонального підходу щодо з’ясування сутності поняття «політична еліта», автор зробив спробу з інших позицій потрактувати його зміст, акцентувавши увагу не на формальній ознаці перебування цієї привілейованої групи осіб у владних структурах, а на ефективності виконання нею своїх функцій. Саме під таким кутом зору висвітлюються особливості процесу її зародження й розвитку, виокремлюються фази піднесення та занепаду, а також пропонується періодизація елітогенезу.The article discusses the complex and little-studied problem of the formation of political elite in the years of national revolution. Abandoning the historiographic traditional status- functional approach to clarify the nature of the term “political elite”, the author has attempted to find out from other positions its essence, focusing not on the formal basis of the privileged group of people in the power structures, but on the effectiveness of the performance of their functions. Under this perspective highlights the peculiarities of the process of its emergence and development are phases of growth and decline, and offered a periodization of its elite genesis.
