Нумізматичні студії в Україні: академічний вимір

Abstract

У статті подано огляд та аналіз дисертаційних досліджень з нумізматики, які були захищені в Україні за період 1991-2018 рр. Роботам з напряму підготовки "Історіографія, джерелознавство та спеціальні історичні дисципліни" приділено основну увагу. Нумізматичні джерела використовуються також в дослідженнях інших галузей науки (економіка, соціологія, філологія тощо), проте розгляд даного аспекту до завдань публікації не включений. Визначено основні напрями і проблеми дисципліни. Актуальними питаннями сучасної української нумізматики у дисертаціях визнані наступні: історія нумізматичних колекцій і зібрань, наукові осередки нумізматичних студій, роль особистостей, тенденції розвитку наукової дисципліни, методологічні засади; робота з джерельною базою - верифікація, атрибуція, каталогізація та топографування нумізматичних знахідок; історія монетного виробництва та грошового обігу в хронологічній та регіональній ретроспекції. Перспективними напрямами визначено узагальнюючі дослідження, історія інституалізації нумізматики як науки (у регіональному плані з подальшим узагальненням в межах держави), вузькопредметні дослідження.The article gives an overview and analysis of PhD thesis in numismatics, which were defending in Ukraine during the 1991-2018. Works on the direction of PhD 's preparation "Historiography, Source Studies and Special Historical Disciplines " focused on in general. Numismatic sources are also used in studies of other branches of science (economics, sociology, philology, etc.), but the consideration of this aspect is not included in the tasks of this publication. The basic directions and problems of the discipline are determined. In the dissertations there are recognized such an actual issues of contemporary Ukrainian numismatics: the history of numismatic collections, scientific centers of numismatic studies, the role of personalities, trends in the development of scientific discipline, methodological foundations; works on the source base - verification, attribution, cataloging and topography of numismatic findings; the history of coin production and money circulation in the chronological and regional retrospection. Among the perspective directions are generalizable studies, the history of institutionalization of numismatics as a science (in a regional plan with subsequent generalization within the state), the narrow-subject studies.
