Застосування на Волині хімічної зброї в роки Першої світової війни

Abstract

У статті розглянуто маловивчену на сьогодні проблему використання хімічної зброї (снаряди, гранати, гази) на території західних повітів Волинської губернії під час Першої світової війни. Здійснено аналіз способів використання різновидів хімічної зброї на Східному фронті, порівняно з втратами на Західному фронті (Бельгія, Польща).The problem of using chemical weapons (shells, grenades, gases) in the territory of western districts of Volyn province during the First World War is considered in the article. Little-known gas facts are based on documents and local lore materials. Some fragments of artwork are used. The analysis of ways of using chemical weapons on the Eastern Front, compared with losses on the Western Front (Belgium, Poland), was analyzed. The need to continue the study and study of this problem and to organize and preserve the memory of victims is indicated.
