Анотація
Стенная живопись так называемого склепа Деметры, открытого в 1895 г.1 в Керчи, приобрела известность после выхода в свет фундаментальной работы М.И. Ростовцева “Античная декоративная живопись на юге России” [1914, 199 – 226, таб. LVI. – LVXII].
The presented work is the first publication of the article of the known Crimean archaeologist, art critic and restorer O.I. Dombrovsky (1914 – 1994) from archive of the Crimean branch of IA NANU. Is it a result conducted by author in September – October, 1949 the model inspections of the real state of the unique painting in a funeral burial vault I c. B.C. in the first years after Great Patriotic war. A manuscript is dated 1956, and the first variant 1952. Attentively supervision all details of painting of burial vault, it is possible to set the number of workings here two or three masters, individual manner each of them and sequence of implementation of separate parts of composition; knowing it, it is possible more precisely to judge about that, what lines of this composition behave to the phenomena of stylistic order, and what it is necessary to explain simply by a technique in narrow sense of this word or individuality of the artistic handwriting of one or another performer.
