Технология изготовления строительной керамики Семикаракорского городища (конец VIII – начало IX вв.)

Abstract

Статья посвящена строительной керамике (черепице) Семикаракорского городища (Нижний Дон). Основным вопросом, который исследуется в работе, является изучение следов, оставленных на черепице во время ее производства, и реконструкция по ним процесса изготовления строительной керамики, основных инструментов и приемов применявшихся при этом. На основе анализа практически всех известных на данный момент керамид и калиптеров памятника можно сделать вывод, что Семикаракорские черепицы имели самобытную и своеобразную технологию производства. Ее особенность заключается в соединении приемов и технологий так называемого лицевого, и тыльного, способа. Аналогий такому способу производства черепицы ни в Крыму, ни в Северо-Восточном Причерноморье не известно.This article is about building ceramics (roof tiles) of Semikarakorsk settlement (Lower Don). The main issue of the article is the study of some technological features of tile production craft on Lower Don. The investigation of production process traces on the tiles allows us to reconstruct basic tools and techniques of this craft and the tile production process itself. Roof tiles from Semikarakorsk settlement has a distinctive and original production technology. This conclusion is based on the analysis of morphological and technological features of known tegulae and imbrexes in this region. Roof tiles from Semikarakorsk has unique combination of so-called “front slyle” and “back slyle” tile production technology. At present there are no analogies of this tiles neither in Crimea, nor in the North-Eastern Black Sea region.
