Феномен кроскультурного роману в постколоніальному дискурсі

Abstract

У статті розглядаються особливості кроскультурного роману у постколоніальному дискурсі. Акцентується увага на дослідженнях, які утворили засади для осмислення феномену постколоніалізму сучасною гуманітаристикою. У зазначеному контексті аналізується сучасний кроскультурний роман та виокремлюються його провідні особливості: «межова ідентичність», гібридність, амбівалентність тощо. Творчість Дж. Кутзеє, С. Рушді, К. Ісігуро характеризується як художня репрезентація так званої «порубіжної свідомості», що є основою кроскультурного світогляду.The features of cross-cultural novel in postcolonial discourse are considered in the article. The main emphasis is placed on the research that has formed the basis for understanding the phenomenon of postcolonialism in modern humanities. In this context, the contemporary cross-cultural novel is considered and its leading features such as «boundary identity», hybridity, ambivalence and others are distinguished. The author refers to the works by J. Coetzee, S. Rushdie, K. Ishiguro as an artistic representation of the so-called «marginal consciousness», which are the basis of the cross-cultural outlook.
