Участь Лева Даниловича у битві при Дюрнкруті 1278 року

Abstract

Запропоновано аналіз латинських джерел XV століття (“Австрійської хроніки” Томас Ебендорфера, “Світової хроніки” ченця Альберта і “Австрійської хроніки” Вейта Арнпека), в яких збереглися згадки про участь князя Лева Даниловича у битві при Дюрнкруті 1278 р. між чеським королем Пшемислом-Оттокаром II та імператором Священної Римської імперії Рудольфом I Ґабсбурґом.This article presents the analysis of latin sources of XV century (“The Austrian chronicle” by Thomas Ebendorfer, “The World Chronicle” by monk Albert and “The Austrian Chronicle” by Veit Arnpeck). All these chronicles mention that Lev Danilovych, called as “rex Rusciae”, took part in the great battle near Durnkrut in 1278 between Ottokar II of Bohemia and Rudolf I Habsburg, the founder of Habsburg’s dynasty. All investigated sources indicate Lev Danilovych to be in the troops of Bohemian king. These testimonies are very important to understanding of diplomacy of Galician duke in the last quarter of XIII century.
