"Подвійна" коронація Данила Романовича: загадка легенди чи реальний факт

Abstract

Проаналізовано джерела про коронацію Данила Романовича у 1253 р. і висвітлення цієї події у викладі хроністів ранньомодерного часу. Встановлено, що інформація Галицько-Волинського літопису повністю відповідає повідомленню Ніколо де Кальві, сповідника папи Інокентія ІV, та польського джерела з кола краківського єпископа Яна Прандоти, яке було у розпорядженні хроніста Яна Длуґоша. Саме Я. Длуґош свідомо сфальшував інформацію про коронацію, закресливши первинний варіант, взятий з цього джерела, і вставивши на полях власну конструкцію під 1246 р. Мацєй Меховіта навів обидва фрагменти, що привело до пізніших версій з домінантою длуґошівської версії 1246 р. Сучасні історики, не зауважуючи досліджень з цієї проблеми В. Семкович-Зарембіни та Д. Домбровського, продовжують шукати джерел цих версій. А проблема “подвійної” коронації у 1253 р., про яку писав Я. Длуґош, і надалі залишається відкритою, оскільки з’ясувати, яка з трьох можливих версій правильна без віднайдення нових джерел, неможливо.The article is dedicated to analysis of sources about coronation of Danylo Romanowych in 1253 and also to the descriptions of this occurrence by early modern chroniclers/ It’s know that the information about Danylo’s coronation in Galician-Volhynian Chronicle coincides with records of Nicolo Calvi, the соnfessor of Pope Innocent IV and notations of anonymous author who was the part of Jan Prandota’s entourage. All there sources were available for Jan Dlugosz. So it was Jan Dlugosz, who deliberately falsified information about coronation, wheb he crossed out primary version from sources and inserted his own variant in the page’s margins and put the date 1246. Another chronicler Maciej Miechowita had included two versions about Danylo’s coronation in his work, which led to controversy in early modern chronicles, where however Dlugosz’s version was dominated. Contemporary historians, who don’t notice researches of V. Semkowich-Zarembin’s and D. Dombrovsky’s, still searching for reasons of differences in reports of chronicles. The issue of “double” coronation in 1253, which was described by Dlugosz is still opened, because without discovery of new sources it is impossible to find out which of three versions in accurate.
