Анотація
Стаття присвячена історії формування колекції Києво-Межигірської фаянсової фабрики у зібранні Полтавського краєзнавчого музею імені Василя Кричевського. Коротко охарактеризовано історію створення та функціонування самого підприємства,
мистецьке та економічне підґрунтя його роботи. Проаналізовано
шляхи надходження межигірських виробів до музейного зібрання у
різні роки. Виокремлюється частина музейної колекції, втрачена
у роки Другої світової війни. Складено перелік виробів, переданих
до Полтавського художнього музею (галереї мистецтв) імені Миколи Ярошенка у 1940 р.
The article is dedicated to history of Kyiv-Mezhyhiria faience factory collection forming in the Vasyl Krychevsky Poltava Local Lore Museum gathering. History of creating and functioning of the plant itself, art and economic foundation of its work are characterized briefly. Enterprise appeared in 1798 not far from Kyiv and became the first in Russian Empire factory that produced fine faience. It aimed to drive imported English faience out of a local market. And by 1829 enterprise achieved its golden age. For example, technique of printed décor and covering with colored glazes were started to use. Kyiv-Mezhyhiria Faience Factory participated in industrial exhibitions in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and Kyiv for many times. Its ware was presented in Paris in Royal Museum of Sevres Porcelain Plant. Unfortunately, the very small number of items, made at the fabric, survived till nowadays. The Vasyl Krychevsky Poltava Local Lore Museum preserves seventeen Mezhyhiria products. Ways of Mezhyhiria vessels coming to museum gathering during different periods are analyzed. Ten of them came to museum in the pre-w ar period before terrible fire of 1943, that destroyed huge part of the gathering. Part of collection, lost during the Second World War, is outlined. Among preserved sources of information concerning ways of collection forming, things that came from the private museum of Kateryna Skarzhynska, are traced. There are nine beautiful faience vessels, which can challenge with European porcelain in their delicacy. Objects, that could come from the Kochubeis palace in Dykanka, are outlined separately. Unfortunately all these things were lost till nowadays. Objects, that came to the local lore museum collection in post-war period, are named additionaly. List of exhibits, passed to the Mykola Yaroshenko Poltava Art Museum (Art Gallery) in 1940, is also made.
