Тюркізми в англійській та інших індоєвропейських мовах

Abstract

У статті здійснено спробу дослідити тюркізми в германських і балтійських мовах, а саме в англійській, німецькій і литовській. Встановлено, що вплив тюркізмів на аналізовані мови є певною мірою ідентичним, що пояснюється екзотичним характером запозиченої лексики.An attempt to investigate Turkisms in Germanic and Baltic languages is made, namely with the reference to the English, German and Lithuanian. It is found out that the influence of Turkisms on the analyzed languages is identical in a certain sense and this is explained with the exotic character of the borrowed lexis.
