Листування Юрія Лавріненка з Юрієм Шерехом у 1945-1949 роках (Вступне слово й коментарі Тетяни Шестопалової)

Abstract

У публікації подано частину листування (шість перших листів) між Ю. Лавріненком та Ю. Шерехом під час їхнього перебування в Західній Європі (Німеччина, Австрія, 1945 - 1949). У другій половині 40-х рр. там сформувався й діяв “Мистецький Український Рух”. Коментар до листування дає загальне уявлення про роль останнього в історії вивчення МУРу, а також про місце збереження листів в архівах УВАН у Нью-Йорку.This publication offers a part of the correspondence (the initial six letters) between Yu. Lavrinenko and Yu. Sherekh during their stay in Western Europe (Germany, Austria, 1945-1949). It was the time when the so-called “MUR” - “Mystetsky Ukrayinsky Rukh” (Ukrainian Artistic Movement) was founded and has reached its heyday. The commentary to the correspondence gives an idea of the role those letters played in the history of “MUR”-studies, as well as of their place of storage in the archives of the UVAN (Ukrainian Free Academy of Sciences) in New York.
