Що таке «татарщина» із заповіту Волинського князя Володимира Васильковича (1287 р.)?

Abstract

Мета статті – з’ясувати, чим була «татарщина» із заповіту волинського князя Володимира Васильковича (1287 р.). Новизна: «татарщина» досі не була предметом спеціального дослідження. У джерелах XIII ст. вона згадана лише один раз і жодного разу в XIV ст. Тому для визначення її суті й змісту проаналізовано згадки про «татарщину» та «ординщину» в джерелах XV–XVI ст. Висновки: «татарщина» була нерегулярним екстраординарним і чітко не обумовленим податком на князівські потреби, пов’язаними з монголами.The purpose of the article is to find out what the «tatarshchyna» was from the will of the Volyn prince Volodymyr Vasylkovych (1287). Novelty: «tatarshchyna» has not yet been the subject of a special study. In the sources of the 13th c., it is mentioned only once and never in the 14th c. Therefore, references to «tatarshchyna » and «ordynshchyna» in the sources of the 15th–16th c. were analyzed to determine its essence and content. Conclusions: «Tatarshchyna» was an irregular extraordinary and not clearly determined tax on princely needs related to Mongols.
