«Музичні інструменти українського народу» Гната Хоткевича. На шляху до сучасних систематикологічних дискурсів

Abstract

У статті автор на основі порівняльного зіставлення першого (1930) і другого (2012) видань відомої монографії Г. Хоткевича «Музичні інструменти українського народу» висвітлює діалектично суперечливі погляди видатного дослідника традиційного інструментарію українців, намагаючись вникнути у складні вияви того часу, що їх детермінували. В епіцентрі концепції дослідження лежить одвічна проблема складних трансформаційних процесів автохтонного й напливового інструментарію та усвідомлення його ідентичності на рівні «свій» – «чужий». У висліді автор доводить спіралеподібний характер трансформування традиційних народних музичних інструментів на всіх, разом із сучасним, етапах їх еволюційного розвитку.The article is about the comparative mapping of differences between the first and second editions of the Hnat Khotkevych’s historic monograph «Musical Instruments of the Ukrainian people» and points to dialectically contradictory perspectives by the renown researcher regarding traditional Ukrainian instruments, attempting to delve into the complexities of the period in which these perspective were determined. The main tenet of his concept is the perennial problem regarding the complex transformational processes of indigenous and introduced instruments and an awareness of identity between those that were «native» as opposed to «foreign». As a result, the author proves a spiral character for the transformation of traditional Folk Music Instruments for all, including modern instruments, during their stages of evolution.
