Abstract

У статті висвітлюються окремі сторінки з історії Етнографічної комісії ВУАН, розглядається активна діяльність і доля її кореспондентів, переслідування записувачів фольклорно-етнографічних матеріалів, їх поневіряння і стійкість духу. Крізь призму історії 1920-х років розкрито долю активного кореспондента Комісії.The article deals with some chapters in the history of the Ethnographic Commission of the All-Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. The activities and the destinies of members of the Commission, persecution of the recorders of the folk and ethnographic materials, their adversities, and true grit are analyzed. Through the lens of 1920s history, the fate of Kostiantyn Brezkun, an active correspondent of the Commission, is revealed.
