Поселення і будівлі севрюків (XIV-XVII століття)

Abstract

У статті йдеться про особливості поселенської структури і житлобудування все ще значною мірою загадкових севрюків сходу України. Порівняно з населенням Сіверщини передмонгольського часу, їхні поселення ставали меншими, а житла поступово перетворювалися з напівземлянкових на наземні. Водночас це були переважно «дворища», де в різних будівлях мешкала значна кількість людей. Основним матеріалом для будівництва слугувало дерево. Господарські будівлі стояли на спеціальному великому дворі, що, вочевидь, мав назву «гумно».The article is dedicated to the peculiarities of the settlement structure and habitation building of the Sevriuks from the East of Ukraine, who are still mysterious in a certain way. In comparison with the Sivershchyna population of the pre-Mongolian period, their settlements have become smaller, and the habitations have been changed gradually into the land from the half-dugout. At the same time, these are mainly farmsteads. A considerable number of people live in different buildings. Wood is used as the main building material. Economic constructions are situated in a special large yard, called, evidently, a barn.
