Поляризационные характеристики целостата Йенша

Abstract

На примере целостата солнечного телескопа оперативных прогнозов (СТОП) Саянской обсерватории исследованы поляризационные характеристики целостатов Иенша. Кратко рассмотрена теория целостата данной конструкции и приведены основные соотношения, необходимые для практических расчетов преобразования параметров Стокса при отражении света от зеркал в зависимости от склонения и часового угла Солнца. Отмечается весьма значительная зависимость инструментальной поляризации (ИП) от координат Солнца, а также от широты места установки целостата. В то же время зависимость ИП от ошибок юстировки целостата — достаточно слабая. Результаты теоретических расчетов ИП для целостатов Иенша проиллюстрированы конкретными наблюдениями на СТОП.By considering an example of the coelostat of the solar telescope of operative predictions (STOP) at the Sayan observatory, the paper deals with polarization characteristics of the Jensch coelostats. The theory of coelostats of this design is briefly considered, and all relations are given, which are required for practical calculations of the conversion of Stokes parameters during reflection of light from coelostat mirrors, depending on declination and on the hour angle of the Sun. The significant dependence of the instrumental polarization (IP) on the Suns coordinates as well as on the coelostat site latitudes is noted. At the same time the IP dependence on the adjustment errors of the coelostats is rather weak. The results of theoretical calculations of IP are illustrated by particular observations with the STOP.
