Abstract

The article contains an analysis of both Soviet and modem historiographies of the political movement in Crimea in 1917-1920. The author arrives at the Soviet period when the Soviet historians used to make a prejudiced approach to this topic, an unprejudiced and comprehensive treatment of this problem is coming to surface nowadays.
