Роль громадськості Галичини в соціальному захисті української молоді (20-30-ті роки ХХ сторіччя)

Abstract

У статті досліджується проблема діяльності українських громадських організацій із соціальної опіки над дітьми й молоддю в Галичині в 20-30-х роках ХХ ст., розкриваються форми, методи і засоби роботи таких організацій, підсумовується історичний досвід. Показується, що за складних історичних умов міжвоєнної доби перебування краю в складі Польщі цю функцію брали на себе й різного роду громадські інституції, бо владні структури не приділя- ли окресленій сфері належної уваги, проводили дискримінаційну політику проти українства.Тhe problem of social tutelage over the children and youth Ukrainian public organizations activity in Galychyna of 20- 30th years of XXth century is researched, the forms, methods and means are revealed, the historical experience is summed up in the article. It is showed that this task was executed by different institutions during the interwar period difficult historical conditions of region, which was the form part of Poland, because proper attention was not paid to this sphere by power structures, they carried out the discriminative policy contrary to Ukrainians.
