Abstract

Protective excavations and archaeological prospecting in the area of lower flow of the Alma River (in Bakhchisaray Region of the Crimea) related to the plundering of the territory in 2008 and 2009. Settlements to the south from Pishchane village, a multilayer site Viline (pond) were discovered, and plundered barrows and the battlefield of Alma battle of 1854 were studied.
