Доба Івана Мазепи та її літературний портрет

Abstract

Досліджено питання впливу гетьмана І. Мазепи на національний літературний процес його доби, образ гетьмана у художніх творах того часу; підкреслено зміну цього образу після подій 1708–1709 рр. Звернено увагу на складні взаємини І. Мазепи з полковником С. Палієм та їх відображення у літературі.The article examines Hetman Ivan Mazepa’s influence on the national literary process of his age, as well as the Hetman’s image in artistic works of that time. It highlights the change of the image after the events of 1708–1709. Attention is drawn to the complicated relations between Mazepa and Colonel Semen Paliy and their reflections in the literature.
