До вивчення фауни крейдових відкладів Волино-Поділля (черевоногі молюски)

Abstract

На підставі аналізу літературних джерел у хронологічній послідовності викладено відомості про вивченість черевоногих молюсків Волино-Подільської окраїни Східно- европейської платформи. За час вивчення крейдових відкладів цієї території (більш як півтора століття) дослідники приділяли особливу увагу детальному опрацюванню колекцій викопної фауни, без якого неможливі кореляція розрізів осадових товщ та реконструкція їх утворення. Черевоногі молюски у крейдових відкладах зустрічаються досить часто, але вважалося, що стратиграфічного значення вони не мають, тому їхній систематичний склад ще й досі залишається неясним. Зроблено висновок про необхідність їх монографічного опрацювання.On the basis of the study a literary data in the chronological sequence the perscrutation of Gastropoda of the Volyno-Podolian part of the East-Europеan platform is stated. During the study of Cretaceous deposits of this territory (more than 1,5 centuries) researchers have being given special attention to processing collections of the fossil fauna, without which it is impossible to correlate sections of sedimentary strata and to renovate their genesis. In detail had been investigated and described Bivalve, Cephalopoda, Echinoidea and Foraminifera. Many papers and monographes are devoted to them. Gastropoda in Cretaceous deposits are often encountered, but previously it was considered, that they did not have any stratigraphical value, therefore their systematic composition have remained obscure yet. It is made a conclusion about necessity of their monographic processing.
