Ф.І. Леонтович – діяч університетської освіти на півдні України

Abstract

В данной статье на основе анализа разнообразного, в том числе архивного, материала изучается вклад профессора истории российского права Ф.И. Леонтовича в развитие университетского образования на юге Украины. Освещается его административная деятельность в Новороссийском университете.This article is devoted to activity of Novorosiysky university`s professors at half of XIXth century and at the beginning of the XXth century historian of the right Fedor Ivanovich Leontovich (1833-1910). Using archival sourses, the author highlights unexplored theme in historiografy, investigates F. Leontovich's administrative and pedagogical activity in the south of Ukraine in Odessa by Novorossisky University. The activity of professor brought in valuable contribution to development of the university education on the South of Ukraine.
