Abstract

Necessity of broadening of lingua-and-country studying aspects in the process of teaching foreign language is grounded in the article. Basic problems of high school connected with new approach to language learning are under consideration.The author proposes ways and means of formation of lingua-and-country studying competence at the lessons of foreign language.
