Синтез и мезогенная способность бананоподобных бромсодержащих сложных эфиров 2,7-дигидроксинафталина

Abstract

Вперше синтезовано складнi ефiри 2,7-дигiдроксинафталiну, що мiстять вiд одного до трьох атомiв брому в рiзних фрагментах молекули, та вивчено вплив мiсцеположення брому на їх мезогенну здатнiсть. Виявлено, що присутнiсть брому в нафталiновому фрагментi або кiнцевому ароматичному циклi призводить до склування синтезованих сполук в iзотропнiй фазi.For the first time, diesters of 2,7-dihydroxynaphtalene containing from one to three bromine atoms in different fragments of a molecule are synthesized, and the effect of the position of a bromine atom on their mesomorphic properties is studied. It is found that the presence of a bromine atom in the naphtalene core or in a lateral fragment leads to the vitrification of the synthesized compounds in the isotropic phase.
