Abstract

Некоторые памятники истории науки недостаточно исследованы и незаслуженно забыты. Один из них - киевский меридианный круг - более ста лет нес свою службу в одной из старейших обсерваторий Украины. История его изготовления и работы как и история династии фирмы изготовителя, судьбы людей, работавших с ним заслуживают на то, чтобы инструмент был сохранен.Some of monuments of history of a science are insufficiently investigated and undeservedly are forgotten. One of them - the Kiev meridian circle - more than hundred years bore the service in one of the oldest observatories of Ukraine. The history of its manufacturing and work as well as history of a dynasty of firm of the manufacturer, destiny of the people worked with it deserve on that the tool has been kept.
