Обоснование выделения Сарматской биогермной зоогеографической провинции (по фауне Gastropoda)

Abstract

На основi географiчного поширення сарматських морських черевоногих молюскiв пропонується видiлити Сарматську бiогермну провiнцiю в межах Сарматської зоогеографiчної областi. Географiчнi межi провiнцiї координуються з поширенням моховаткових бiогермiв у Бессарабському басейнi (середнiй сармат). Малакофауна провiнцiї характеризується значною таксономiчною рiзноманiтнiстю та високим ендемiзмом Gastropoda.Based on the geographical distribution of marine gastropods, a new Sarmatian Biohermal Province is suggested for the Sarmatian Zoogeographic Region. The geographical limits of this province correspond to the distribution of bryozoan reefs in the Bessarabian Basin (Middle Sarmatian). The malacofauna of the new unit is characterized by a significant taxonomic diversity and a high degree of endemism among the Gastropoda.
