Становлення Римо-католицької єпископської та митрополичої катедр у королівстві Русі в середині XIV – на початку XV століття

Abstract

Викладено шлях становлення митрополичої кафедри у Руському королівстві (середина XIV – початок XV ст.) від перших призначень титулярних єпископів до перенесення римо-католицької митрополичої кафедри з Галича до Львова на тлі боротьби за спадщину Романовичів.The article analyses the process of establishment of the Metropolitan Cathedral in the Kingdom of Rus’ in the mid-14th – early 15th centuries. It covers the period starting with the fi rst appointment of the titular bishops and fi nishing with the transfer of the Roman Catholic Metropolitan Cathedral from Halych to L’viv. These developments are examined in the context of the Romanovych dynasty’s succession struggle.
