Abstract

У статті М.Кордуби висвітлюється роль і значення литовської доби як ключового, або «найважнішого», моменту/періоду в історії України. Висунуто й обґрунтовано тезу, що саме входження південно-західних земель Русі до складу Великого князівства Литовського впродовж другої половини XIV ст. і відрив їх від інших руських теренів стало найважливішим чинником у формуванні української нації.In M.Korduba’s article lightens up the role and significance of the Lithuanian era as a pillar, or the “most important” moment/period in the history of Ukraine. Author advances and grounds the thesis that the entrance of the South-Western lands of Kyiv Rus’ to Grand Duchy of Lithuania during second half of 14th century and its isolation from other Russian lands became exactly the most dominant formation factor of Ukrainian nation.
