Correlations of the multicomponent oxidic melt viscosity with other properties

Abstract

Correlations between the viscosity of iron yttrium garnet solutions in the melt PbO-B₂O₃-BaO-BaF₂ solvent and the solution-melt specific volume and conductance have been investigated. To stydy the structure of that system, it is possible to use the Bachinsky equation and the "hole" of the liquid structure.
