Керамический комплекс засыпи цистерны V-VI вв. в XCVII квартале Херсонеса (предварительная информация)

Abstract

Статья представляет собой краткую предварительную публикацию материалов комплекса засыпи цистерны, открытой в Северо-восточном районе Херсонеса. Там в течение последних полутора десятков лет экспедиция под руководством М.И. Золотарева проводила исследования одного (XCVII) из жилых кварталов города, в центре которого и располагался этот археологический объект.The article is devoted to the examination of the ceramic complex of the cistern from the North-Western area of Chersonesos. The cistern was excavated in 2001-2004. The material found in the infill of the cistern included fragments of building ceramics (flat tile, kalipteroi, and plinfa) as well as fragments of amphorae, kitchen pottery and modelled ware, table ware, and lamps. Besides, there were coins, articles of glass, metal and bone, and three fragments of lapidary inscriptions.
