Літературна рецепція філософії історії в романі Миколи Лазорського "Степова квітка"

Abstract

Роман українського письменника з Австралії Миколи Лазорського «Степова квітка» (1965) є прикладом того, як певна історіософська концепція отримує мистецьке вираження у художньому творі. Йдеться про концепцію занепаду колишньої еліти Руси-України, яка поступово втратила свою державотворчу місію у період входження українських земель до складу Великого князівства Литовського та Речі Посполитої. На її місце приходить нова націєтворча сила – українське козацтво. Окрім такої історіософської широкомасштабної перспективи на мікроісторичному рівні автор у художній формі намагається представити проблеми існування української еліти, її участі в політичному житті, приватний побут. Через мікроісторії живих людей (як реальних, так вигаданих) така наративна стратеґія дає змогу заглянути на різних мікрорівнях приватного та національного суспільного життя у складні процеси циркуляції українських еліт у бурхливих і динамічних процесах кінця XV – XVI століть.The novel of the Ukrainian writer from Australia Mykola Lazorskyi «Steppe Flower» (1965) is an example of how a certain historiosophical concept receives artistic expression in the work of art. We are talking about the concept of the decline of the old elites of Rus-Ukraine, which gradually lost its state forming mission during the period of the Ukrainian lands as a part of the Grand Principality of Lithuania and Rzeczpospolita. In its place comes a new nation creating force – the Ukrainian Cossacks. Except such historiosophical large-scale perspective on micro-historical level, the author in the form of art tries to present the problem of existence of the Ukrainian elite, its participation in political life, private manners and customs. Through the micro-histories of living people (both real and fictional), this narrative strategy gives the opportunity to look at various micro levels of the private and national public life into the complex processes of circulation of the Ukrainian elites in the turbulent and dynamic processes of the late XV – XVI centuries.
