Індоєвропейські розширювачі з позицій лінгвостатистики та психолінгвістики

Abstract

На матеріалі етимологічного словника Ю. Покорного знайдена частота вживання індоєвропейських розширювачів у різних семантичних класах слів і таким чином встановлені функціональні значення поширювачів у індоєвропейській прамові. Виявлені функціональні значення порівнюються з даними психолінгвістики і висувається гіпотеза, що первинними значеннями розширювачів були іконічні значення.On the material of J. Pokomy Etymological Dictionary the frequency of occurrence of Indo-Eu- ropean determinatives in different semantic classes as well as their functional meanings in the Proto-Indo-European Language were found. The functional meanings are compared with the psycholinguistic data which allowed to put forward the hypothesis that the primary meanings of determinatives in the Proto-Indo-European language were iconic.
