Abstract

У статті відбито шлях у велику науку видатного мовознавця академіка В. М. Русанівського. Аналізуються його різнобічні наукові інтереси, праці в різних галузях мовознавства: лексикографії,The article gives a biographical outline of an eminent Ukrainian linguist, full member of the Ukrainan National Academy of Sciences professor Vitalii Rusanivskyi. The paper discusses his ver-satile linguistic interests reflected in his writings in the branches of lexicography, history of the Ukrainian language, stylistics, language teaching, and Slavic studies.
