Підсумки й перспективи вітчизняного селянствознавства

Abstract

Стаття присвячена підсумкам та перспективам вітчизняних селянствознавчих студій, які займають важливе місце в українській історіографії. Дослідження з історії українського селянства є різноманітними й висвітлюють актуальні аспекти соціальної історії, біографістики, історії культури й освіти. Накопичений ними досвід відкриває нові перспективи для подальших наукових розвідок з історії українського селянства. Зокрема, перспективними напрямками для подальших досліджень можна вважати комплекс питань, пов’язаних з взаємовідносинами між поміщиками та їх кріпаками. На окремі студії заслуговує не лише діюче в Російській імперії законодавство про селян, а й його ефективність, що передбачала реальну відповідальність поміщиків за перевищення своїх повноважень й знущання зі своїх кріпаків. Свою роль у розвитку соціальних студій може відіграти також висвітлення піклування поміщиків-просвітителів про селян, їх добробут й освіту.The article is devoted to the results and perspectives of domestic peasant studies, which occupy an important place in Ukrainian historiography. Studies on the history of the Ukrainian peasantry are diverse and covers the actual aspects of social history, biography, history of culture and education. Their accumulated experience opens up new perspectives for further research on the history of the Ukrainian peasantry. In particular, promising directions for further research can be considered a complex of issues related to the relationship between landlords and their serfs. In separate studios deserves not only the legislation in force in the Russian Empire about the peasants, but also its efficiency, which provided for the real responsibility of the landowners for exceeding their powers and bullying from their serfs. Their role in the development of social studies can play also coverage of the care of landlordseducators about the peasants, their welfare and education.
