Листування о. Петра Білона з архієпископом Євгеном Бачинським

Abstract

У статті розглянуто та вперше опубліковано листування двох видатних діячів УАПЦ, українського визвольного руху ХХ ст. о. Петра Білона і єпископа Євгена Бачинського, яке зберігається в архівосховищах Канади. Воно є цінним джерелом з історії українських парафій УАПЦ в Німеччині, Канаді та США, проливає світло на біографію, особливості світогляду обох кореспондентів, їхню оцінку деяких провославних і політичних діячів.The article examines and publishes for the first time the correspondence of two prominent figures of the UAOC, the Ukrainian liberation movement of the 20th c., fr Petro Bilon and archbishop Yevhen Bachynsky, which is stored in the archives of Canada. It is a valuable source on the history of Ukrainian parishes of the UAOC in Germany, Canada, and the United States, shedding light on the biography, peculiarities of the worldview of both correspondents, and their assessment of some of the Orthodox and political figures.
