Етнографічна картографія в Угорщині

Abstract

Даний текст є перекладом зі збірки статей “Етнічні традиції класи та громади в Угорщині'' угорського дослідника Атіли Паладі-Копач, яка була видана Угорським Інститутом Етнографії у 1996 році.The article under consideration is a translation of the work by a Hungarian author A. Paladi-Kovach. Some information on the history of ethnographic cartography in Hungary, population censuses, and ethnographic maps is presented. A thorough research is dedicated to Hungarian Ethnographic Atlas, a complex work which aim was a reflection of the whole Hungarian folk culture. Problems of the regional atlases that reflect smaller differences in culture are depicted in the article as well.
