Abstract

Розглядаються основні віхи життєвого шляху та наукової діяльності М.М. Бережкова (1850–1932) – професора російської історії Ніжинського історико-філологічного інституту князя Безбородька. Дослідження присвячене становленню М.М. Бережкова як особистості та науковця, формуванню його наукових інтересів у сфері середньовічної історії Росії упродовж першого періоду його життя та діяльності (1850–1878).The main mileposts of the life and scientific biography of M.M. Berezhkov, professor of the Russion history of the Nizhyn Institute of History and Phylology of prince Bezborodko. The research is dedicated to the formation of M.M. Berezhkov as a personality and researcher, establishment of his scientific interests in the sphere of the medieval history of Russia during the first period of his life and activities.
