Образи просвітян у творах Івана Франка (роман “Перехресні стежки”)

Abstract

На прикладі персонажів роману “Перехресні стежки” розкрито бачення Іваном Франком місця і ролі багатонаціональної інтеліґенції Східної Галичини у розвитку політичної свідомості та громадської активності галицької спільноти кінця ХІХ ст. Вказано на якісно нові, новаторські штрихи до усталеного образу просвітянина.The author explores the views of Ivan Franko on the place and role of multi-national intelligentsia of Eastern Galicia in the development of political consciousness and public activism of Galician community at the end of the 19th century through the example of personages of the novel “Perekhresni stezhky”. The qualitatively new, innovative traits to the established image of the “Prosvita” activist are pointed out.
