Formation of the current attachments in plasma accelerator channel under influence of the longitudinal magnetic field

Abstract

Results of numerical simulations of axisymmetric plasma flows in accelerator channel with longitudinal magnetic field are presented. The investigations of two-dimensional flows are carried out within the framework of onecomponent MHD-model and two-component model taking into account the Hall effect. It is found that the current attachments are appeared in case of respective strong longitudinal magnetic field.
