Abstract

Sociological historiography is regarded as a part of the sociological thought history. There have been determined the main tasks and functions of the sociological historiography. There are presented the methods used in this branch, like comparatively-historical, specifically-analytical, logically-historical, problem-chronological methods, as well as the methods of actualization and social prognostics.
