Усні свідчення киян про геноцид 1932–1933 років: «Найбільше вмирали діти…»

Abstract

У статті розкрито дії радянської влади щодо українського населення під час найбільшого злочину проти людства – Голодомору 1932–1933 років в Україні. Насильницьке винищування голодною смертю було скероване переважно на українське село, де тоді проживало понад 90 % українців. Селяни шукали порятунок у містах, але не знаходили його там через важкі економічні умови самих городян і політику влади. Посадовці не давали нещасним утікачам жодних шансів вижити. Надзвичайно багато постраждало дітей, про що свідчать архівні документи та джерела усної історії. Віднайдено нові архівні дані про створення спеціальних інтернатів (карантинів) для дітей-утікачів та їхню мученицьку смерть у цих закладах.

The actions of the Soviet authority concerning the Ukrainian population during the Holodomor of 1932–1933 in Ukraine as the largest crime against humanity are considered in the article. The violent destruction with the death of hunger has been directed mainly at the Ukrainian village, where over 90 % of Ukrainians lived at that time. The peasants have looked for an escape to the cities, but they can’t find it there because of the heavy economic conditions of the townspeople themselves and the authority's policy. The officials have not allowed the unlucky fugitives to survive. The children have suffered the most. Archival documents and the sources of oral history affirm this fact. New archival data on the creation of special hostels (quarantines) for child fugitives and their martyr death in these institutions are found.
