Abstract

Походження назви села Виповзів, незважаючи на його простоту на перший погляд, є не таким однозначним. Загальний смисл апелятива, що утворє остову ойконіма, зрозумілий, проте втрата мотиваційної складової з плином часу призвела до виникнення цілого ряду версій його онімізації. На підставі дослідження як лінгвістичних, так і археологічних та історичних даних запропоновано як найвірогіднішу версію походження назви шляхом онімізації апелятива «виползово» зі значенням «передмістя, слобідка або крайні в поселенні хати», що було зумовлено певними історичними процесами в історії населеного пункту.The origin of the name of the village of Vypovziv, despite its simplicity at first glance, is not so unambiguous. The general meaning of the appellative forming the stem of the place-name is straightforward, but the loss of the motivational component over time has led to a number of versions of its onymization. Based on the research of linguistic as well as archaeological and historical data, the most probable version of the origin of the name was suggested by the onymization of the appellative «vypolzovo» with the meaning of «the outskirts of a settlement», which was determined by a certain period in the history of the settlement.
