Військові служителі в Гетьманщині: групи, статус, соціопрофесійна організація

Abstract

Досліджується один з елементів соціальної структури Української козацької держави, а саме спільнота військових служителів. Метою роботи є структурне вичленення цієї групи із загальної соціальної мозаїки Гетьманщини, диференціювання окремих її категорій у залежності від соціального походження служителів, їх підпорядкування, набору соціальних преференцій за службу, а також джерел її оплати. Методологічну основу становить принцип історизму в єдності всіх його компонентів, системності та науковості. Дослідження орієнтовано на залучення історично-порівняльного, історично-типологічного, історично-системного методів. Широке застосування отримали прийоми мікроісторичного аналізу. Наукова новизна полягає в тому, що це – перше в українській історіографії комплексне соціальне дослідження служительської корпорації Гетьманщини, в якому робиться спроба стратифікації цієї неоднорідної спільноти, установлення кількісних показників, а також виявлення якісних статусних ознак окремих груп, що входили до неї. Висновки зводяться до кількох моментів. Установлено, що до складу служительської спільноти входили різноманітні категорії, які умовно можна розділити на служителів військових, ратушних, обозних майстрів, фіскальних і канцелярських, а також таких, що несли службу не на користь усього Війська Запорозького, а його окремих представників. За своїми функціональними обов’язками, соціальними статусними показниками й місцем в ієрархії козацького стану, а також джерелами матеріального забезпечення, під категорію саме військових служителів Гетьманщини підпадають артилерійські служителі – пушкарі й гармаші, та військові музики. Звернуто увагу на реґіональні особливості статусних характеристик представників цієї соціальної групи, а також відмінності в їх кількісних показниках у різних полках. Досліджено проблему соціального авансу від входження до групи військових служителів, а також заторкнуто питання матеріальної винагороди за несення служби різними її категоріями.

The article deals with the social structure of the Ukrainian Cossack state (Zaporozhian Host), in particular its community as a group of military servants. The purpose of the research is the structural separation of the group of ministers from the general social mosaic of Hetmanshchyna, the differentiation of its separate categories, depending on the social origin of the ministers, their submission, the set of social preferences for the service, as well as sources of payment for the service. Methodological basis of the research is the principle of historicism in the unity of all its components, systemic and scientific. The research is aimed at attracting historical, comparative, historical-typological, historical-systematical methods. Widespread use of methods of microhistorical analysis. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that it is the first in Ukrainian historiography for a comprehensive social study of the Hetmanshchyna Corporation, which attempts to stratify this mosaic community, establish quantitative indicators, as well as reveal qualitative status features of certain groups that belonged to it. Conclusions. According to the results of the study, it was found that the Hetmanshchyna’s ministry was composed of various categories that can be divided into servants of the military, town hall, carpenters, fiscal and stationery ministers, as well as those who carried the service not in favour of the entire Zaporozhian Host, but its individual representatives. It was established that according to their functional duties, social status indicators and place on the hierarchical ladder of the Cossack state, as well as sources of material support, artillery servicemen – gunners (pushkari) and cannons (harmashi), and military musicians – fall into the category of the military ministers of the Hetmanshchyna. Attention is drawn to the regional features of the status characteristics of the representatives of this social group, as well as the differences in their quantitative indicators in different regiments. The problem of social advance from joining the group of military servicemen was investigated, as well as the issue of material remuneration for the service in various categories was touched upon.
