Вбивство половецьких ханів у Переяславі 1096 р.: причини та внутрішньополітичні наслідки на Русі

Abstract

Метою статті є визначення причин вбивства половецьких ханів на мирних переговорах у Переяславі 1096 р. та його наслідків для політичного життя Русі. Методологічно робота здійснена на основі історико-антропологічного підходу. Науковою новизною дослідження є значно ширший контекст розгляду цієї події, ніж було здійснене раніше як у вітчизняній, так і в зарубіжній історичний науці. Висновки. До теми вбивства половецьких ханів у Переяславі 1096 р. дослідники звертались вже неодноразово. Однак якогось особливого значення цій події ними не надавалося. Насправді, як засвідчує всебічний аналіз тогочасного політичного життя Русі, наслідки цього вбивства мали зовсім не локальний характер. Взагалі ж, без цієї події не було б і відомого Любецького з’їзду князів. А рішення останнього, як відомо, багато в чому визначили всю подальшу політичну історію Русі.

The purpose of the article is to determine reasons for the assassination of the Polovtsian khans during the peace negotiations in Pereyaslav in 1096 and its consequences for the political life of Rus. Methodologically, the work is based on a historical-anthropological approach. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the significantly broader context of examining this event compared to previous studies in both domestic and foreign historical science. Conclusions. The topic of the assassination of the Polovtsian khans in Pereyaslav in 1096 has been addressed by researchers multiple times. However, they have not attributed any particular significance to this event. In reality, as a comprehensive analysis of the political life of Rus at that time shows, it was far from a mere local incident. In fact, without this event, there would not have been the well-known Liubech congress of princes. The decisions of the latter, as we know, largely determined the entire subsequent political history of Rus.
